Bonnie Hinds has served as a State Extension Specialist in the Family and Consumer Sciences unit of University of Tennessee Extension since 2008.  Her work is focused in  the areas of Community and Environmental Health.  Prior to joining UT Extension, Bonnie was the Director of Community Development for the eastern region of the Tennessee Department of Health.  She resides in rural Blount County.
