Dr. Nair is the Medical Director of Liver Transplantation and Chief of Transplant Hepatology with University of Tennessee Health Science Center/Methodist University Hospital Transplant Program at James D. Eason Transplant Institute. This institute has performed more than 1300 Liver Transplants since 2006. He is a Professor in the Transplant Surgery Division of the College of Medicine at UTHSC. Dr. Nair is the Program Director for the Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at UTHSC. Dr. Nair is a Consultant of Hepatology for St. Jude Children’s Hospital Outpatient and consults on Hepatic C patients, patients with liver disease, and an advisor on hepatic complication of gene therapy studies.
