Thomas Faust
I am a Professor Of Surgery at The James D. Eason Transplant institute. My passion is taking care of patients with chronic liver disease with or without the need for liver transplantation. Additionally, I take care of patients after liver transplantation.
I have a keen interest in medical education and I have been a Director or Co-Director of Pathophysiology Courses at The University of Chicago and The University of Pennsylvania. Moreover, I was the gastroenterology fellowship program director at The University of Pennsylvania and started the transplant hepatology program at Penn.
I want to become more involved with the education at UTHSC (medical students, residents, fellows). I am currently Transplant Hepatology Fellowship Director at Methodist University Hospital.
