Sophia Mosher joined the CHIPS team in November 2019 as the Simulation Logistician. She first joined UTHSC in the Office of Equity and Diversity, coordinating the office’s strategic programs. Previously, she worked as an English teacher in Clarendon, AR, through Teach for America. As Simulation Logistician, Sophia uses her education and logistics experience to assist with the management of CHIPS experiences across their lifecycles. She works collaboratively to plan, implement, and assess simulated experiences. Post-experience, Sophia works with the CHIPS team to develop project improvement plans to ensure improved outcomes for future simulations. Additionally, she oversees CHIPS web and social media presence. Sophia is originally from northern Michigan, and is an alumna of Michigan State University’s James Madison College, where she received a BA in Comparative Cultures and Politics. She earned her Master of Public Administration from the University of Memphis in May 2017.
