Tere Teresa Britt is the Interim Co-Director of the Center and the Director of Education for the Center for Healthcare Improvement and Patient Simulation
(CH (CHIPS) at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, located in Memphis, TN. In her current role, she serves as a simulation mentor to
Fac Faculty from six different colleges, as well as assisting frontline community partners. She has researched and developed many types of simulation
devl development opportunities to meet the needs of this large variety of learners. Teresa was one of the original founding board members for the Tennessee
Sim Simulation Alliance, and is immediate past- President. She was selected by the National League of Nursing as a Simulation Leader in 2016, an honor that has
pro. provided her with opportunities to collaborate with Simulation Nursing Leaders from across the nation. She has been involved for many years with both
the Ithe International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation and Learning (INACSL), the Association for Standardized Patient Educators (ASPE) and
the the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, where she is part of several committees and Special Interest Groups and serves as a SSH Accreditation
Rev.Reviewer. She has obtained the Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator-Advanced credentials, an achievement met by only 80 individuals worldwide.
She She has published in both simulation case design and simulation-enhanced interprofessional educational strategies.
