Dr. Schorge earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and graduated from medical school at Vanderbilt. He completed OB/GYN residency and fellowship training at Brigham & Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. He has spent more than 20 years on the academic faculty at UT Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Memorial Hospital, Mass General/Harvard Medical School and Tufts Medical Center before joining UTHSC as Professor and Chair of OB/GYN. Dr. Schorge is a senior ABOG examiner, former President of both the Boston Obstetrical Society and New England Association of Gynecologic Oncology and serves as the Deputy Editor of the premier journal in his field, Obstetrics & Gynecology. He has authored more than 120 original research papers, is an avid clinical researcher and an editor of the internationally bestselling 1500+ page text/atlas Williams’ Gynecology – now preparing for its 5^th edition.
