The Frank M. Norfleet Forum for the Advancement of Health was established at UTHSC in 1979 through a designated fund within the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis. The mission of the Norfleet Forum is to focus on the improvement of the health status of the citizens who reside in Memphis/Shelby County, the State of Tennessee, the nation, and the world, through concern for effective health policies and organization. The 2023 Norfleet Forum focuses on an understanding of the fundamental principles of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and how these technological advances could be used for the delivery of healthcare and to improve patient outcomes.

- Describe how artificial intelligence could be incorporated into the delivery of quality patient care.
