It is important for healthcare providers to have a good understanding of how to properly prescribe controlled substances for acute and chronic pain. The state of TN requires education related to this topic for licensure. This course is being provided to help improve knowledge of prescribing laws and to facilitate the best outcomes for patients in efforts to prevent misuse. This course will meet the mandatory 2 hours of continuing education related to prescribing controlled substances for APRNs.
Lunch will be provided at 12pm with the presentation to begin at 12:30pm.
