Quinetta Johnson, MD, MPH
Dr. Quinetta Johnson completed her undergraduate education at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, TN. She then pursued and completed her medical degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. Following her medical education and residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology she pursued her Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Epidemiology while being under the NIH T32 training grant at the University of North Carolina. She completed her fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine at the University of Kentucky. Following her fellowship training, she accepted a position as an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine. She is also currently the Director of the Obstetrics Special Care Clinic at Regional One Hospital focusing on the integrative obstetrical care of substance abuse in pregnancy. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal Fetal Medicine. Dr. Johnson believes that maternal and women’s health is the cornerstone to healthy communities overall. She has a passion for educating and treating those from underserved backgrounds and marginalized communities. She is looking forward to exploring opportunities to better understand the modifiable etiological factors of racial disparities in maternal health and helping to implement lasting change regarding this national epidemic.
