Bonnie Jean Miller, MSN, RN

Bonnie Miller is a high-risk obstetrical nurse with 16 years of experience. For the last three years, she has been the professional development specialist at Regional One Health for Women’s Services, neonatal intensive care unit, and inpatient rehabilitation. She is a simulation nurse coordinator and travels the world training nurses and providers in maternal and neonatal emergency simulations. She has worked with Tennessee Initiative for Perinatal Quality Care (TIPQC) as the Maternal Quality Improvement Specialist, working with facilities across Tennessee on statewide quality improvement initiatives.
Bonnie is a member of the American Society of Professionals in Patient Safety (ASPPS), American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS), Association of Perioperative Nurses (AORN), Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH), Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), the National Association of Neonatal Nurse (NANN), and the Tennessee Nurse’s Association (TNA). She is an instructor for the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and AWHONN Intermediate fetal monitoring courses. Bonnie is involved in nursing, residents, and provider education at Regional One Health.
Bonnie received her associate's in nursing at Northwest Mississippi Community College in 2007, Bachelor’s degree in nursing from Cumberland University in 2016, and a Master’s in nursing from Cumberland University in 2019. She is currently working on her doctorate in nursing with a focus on nurse-midwifery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis.
