Dr. Ryan Stephens is the nurse practitioner for the adolescent-adult congenital heart program at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital & is an instructor in the College of Nursing at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.  In addition to his role with the ACHD program, Dr. Stephens is the primary nurse practitioner for the Sports & Exercise Cardiology program at Le Bonheur.  Prior to joining Le Bonheur, he practiced as a primary care NP at Christ Community Health Services for 3 years. With experience in general and specialty care, he is hopeful to provide basic & needed insight into the assessment of the pre-participation sports & cardiac physical exams for the APP.
