Kate Winter has worked as a Victim Witness Coordinator with the Rockingham County Attorney’s Office since 2014.  She works with victims of felony level crimes, supporting and guiding them through all stages of the Criminal Court process and connecting them with additional resources. Kate has been co-facilitator of the Rockingham County Sexual Assault Resource Team (SART) since its inception in 2015.  Prior to her work as a Victim Witness Coordinator, Kate provided family support services as a home visitor, working with at risk families who were experiencing various challenges including domestic violence.  She also facilitated parenting classes and family support groups to incarcerated mothers.  Kate has been a licensed Emergency Medical Technician with Sandown Fire Rescue since 2011 and currently serves as an EMS Lieutenant there.
