Motivational Interviewing for Patients with Vaccine Hesitancy
Vaccine hesitancy is a world health threat. With the introduction of COVID-19 and the vaccination for this illness, the threat is more prominent. The state of Tennessee has a low rate of vaccination for COVID-19. Motivational interviewing is a technique that can be used when discussing difficult topics with patients. This module is designed to prepare healthcare providers with the necessary skills for interviewing patients in a manner that facilitates positive change in behavior.
