The 2026 Psychiatric-Advocacy Collaborative Teams Summit (P.A.C.T.S.): From Silos to Synergy - Advancing Child Mental Health Through Collaboration aims to unite medical professionals, families, social workers, educators, and child-serving entities to enhance mental health care. The summit will feature a keynote speaker who will further elucidate the conference's mission and inspire providers to collectively address the issues impacting youth mental health. There will be a panel discussion offering instructional content, focusing on topics such as justice involved youth and enhancing systems of care. Lunch will include networking opportunity fostering effective collaboration, continuing the afternoon with more specialized discussions with the shared goal of bridging existing gaps in mental health provision. A poster session will provide participants with the opportunity to gain insights into the latest research conducted in the field of children's mental health.

Desired Outcome
The goal of the 2026 Psychiatric Advocacy Collaborative Teams Summit (PACTS) is to convene a group of local experts to discuss the various methods and strategies that healthcare professionals can implement in their daily practice to improve the care and support for youth impacted by adverse childhood experiences. The summit's overarching goal is to cultivate a deeper understanding of integrated behavioral health practices, emphasizing cultural competency and humility. PACTS aims to fortify the delivery of care within diverse communities, addressing existing shortcomings, and rectifying challenges that hinder access to mental health services.

Russell Ledet, MD, PhD, MBA, is a physician scientist and triple board resident pediatrician, adult psychiatrist, and child and adolescent psychiatrist at Indiana University.
