  • Describe the goals and strategies of stroke rehabilitation across different stages of care (i.e. acute vs chronic).
  • Describe common complications after a stroke and treatment strategies.
  • Recognize interdisciplinary approaches that enhance coordination and quality of care throughout the stroke continuum.
  • Integrate emerging rehabilitation strategies to improve post-stroke outcomes.
  • Review the evolution of thrombolytic therapy and emerging strategies to expand treatment eligibility and improve stroke outcomes.
