What are the recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)? The discussion also focuses on the trauma that CP causes in children. When does CP cross the line? Which states still have laws on the books allowing CP in schools? What role does culture play in CP? What are alternative strategies to CP? Parenting is a very personal thing and individualized. Understanding approaches other than CP is essential to minimizing the long-term damage that CP can create.
