Alizbeth Eaves, RN, CEN, TCRN, SANE-A, SANE-P
I graduated from the University of West Alabama with my Associate Degree in Nursing in 2012. Since 2012 I have worked at the Women's Wellness Institute in Meridian, MS, The Center for Violence Prevention in Pearl, MS, University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS and Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian, MS which is now Ochsner Rush Medical Center since our merger with Ochsner Health Systems in August, 2022. I also work with University of Arkansas Medical Sciences as a TeleSANE and am a contract instructor for the University of South Alabama Health Simulation Department SANE skills lab. My current role at Ochsner Rush Medical Center is the Trauma and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program Manager and I have been in this role since March, 2021. I have been a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner since 2014 and achieved both SANE-A and SANE-P certifications in 2020. I am the Vice President of the Alabama International Association of Forensic Nurses Chapter and the Secretary/Treasurer of the Mississippi International Association of Forensic Nurses Chapter. I also participate in our local and regional Sexual Assault Response/Resource Team and am a Trauma Nurse Core Course Instructor.
