Dr. Elizabeth (Liz) Robison is a nationally recognized nurse educator, simulation expert, and leader in the integration of emerging technologies within nursing education. With more than four decades of service in nursing practice, higher education, healthcare simulation, and military leadership, she has built a distinguished career dedicated to preparing the next generation of nurses and advancing excellence in teaching, learning, and professional development.
A retired full professor of nursing, Dr. Robison now serves as an independent consultant supporting academic programs, faculty, and simulation teams across the United States and internationally. Her areas of expertise include curriculum development, instructional technology, simulation design and implementation, faculty development, environmental sustainability in simulation, and responsible use of generative artificial intelligence in nursing education. She has become a sought-after speaker and facilitator, delivering numerous workshops, webinars, and presentations for national organizations, conferences, and academic institutions. Her recent scholarly contributions include peer-reviewed publications on simulation prebriefing using AI-generated podcasts, best practices for environmental sustainability in simulation, and the development of prompt templates to support simulation design.
