Dr. Tracy D. McClinton is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) and an alumna of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC). She is an Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in the Acute Tertiary - Advanced Practice and Doctoral Studies Department, where she serves as a member of the UTHSC Faculty Senate Executive Committee. She has an extensive nursing background in acute and critical care of more than 20 years serving as a critical care nurse, AGACNP hospitalist, and infectious disease provider. Dr. McClinton also serves on the Tennessee Action Committee as co-lead for West Tennessee.
