1st Annual Tennessee Rural Healthcare Center of Excellence (TRHCCoE) Innovation and Practice Conference

Memphis, TN US
April 21, 2026

Join us for a one-day continuing education event designed to expand the knowledge, skills, and practice readiness of healthcare providers serving rural communities. This conference will bring together nurses, physicians, advanced practice providers, public health professionals, and healthcare administrators to examine the rapidly evolving rural health landscape and identify practical strategies to improve care delivery in rural settings.

Rural healthcare providers face unique challenges, including workforce shortages, geographic barriers to care, higher burdens of chronic disease, and limited access to specialty services. At the same time, healthcare technology, digital health tools, and policy initiatives are transforming how care can be delivered in rural communities. This conference aims to equip providers with the information and practical tools needed to adapt to these changes and improve health outcomes for rural populations.

Commissioner John Dunn, DVM, PhD, will be the Keynote Speaker!

Target Audience

All who have an interest in the future of rural health in Tennessee

Learning Objectives

By the end of the conference, participants will have a clearer understanding of the current rural healthcare environment, the potential applications of AI and remote monitoring technologies, and the policy context shaping rural health delivery. Most importantly, attendees will leave with actionable strategies to strengthen healthcare access, quality, and innovation in the rural communities they serve.
