The STEP-UP into Forensics Conference
The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Nursing’s Annual Forensic Nursing Conference is back! Funded by a grant the from Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), the title of this year’s conference is “The STEP UP into Forensics Conference”. The program for the one-day event includes local and national experts and speakers who will present core information essential for all members of the interdisciplinary forensics team with an emphasis on the educational needs of the SANE.
Target Audience
Advanced Practice Nurses, Physicians, Registered Nurses, Law Enforcement, Attorneys, Patient Advocates, other Community Partners
Learning Objectives
This conference will provide a comprehensive overview of forensic nursing care across the lifespan. Attendees will apply principles of forensic concepts to practice enhancing knowledge of patient-centered care, describe the intersection between law and patient care, and learn about the barriers that exist in rural vs. urban jurisdictions.
