We will take a look at how genetics, trauma, and opportunity across the lifespan can contribute in the development of opiate dependency and misuse. We will hear from providers caring for all generations and our discussion will be case based focusing on substance use disorder within families across the lifespan. We will also learn more about the fentanyl crisis and how medication assisted therapy can help improve patient outcomes.
